Transfers from the Airport:
By Metro: Take Line 3 (blue line) from the airport and get off at Syntagma Metro Station. Then take Line 2 (red line) and get off at Acropoli Metro Station. The journey takes about 40 minutes. The ticket costs 10 Euros / person.
Metro operates daily from 6:30 a.m. until 23:30 (From the airport to Syntagma) and from 5:38 a.m. until 23:04 from Syntagma to airport. Always check the routes www.stasy.gr, if there is any change in schedules.
By Bus: (especially when the Metro is not operating) otherwise you take the X95 bus from the airport and get off at Syntagma Square. The journey from the airport to Syntagma takes about 1 hour and there is a bus every 20 minutes, 24 hours. The ticket price is 5 Euros per person.
By taxi: There are plenty of taxis outside the airport, whatever your arrival time. You will pay around 40 Euros during the day and around 55 at night. The journey takes about 45 minutes. Scheduled transfers are always more expensive.
Transfers from the port of Piraeus:
By Metro: The Metro station is across the port and it is open till midnight. Take Line 1 (green line) and get off at Omonia Metro Station. Then take Line 2 (red line) and get off at Acropoli Metro Station. The journey takes about half an hour and the ticket costs 1.20 Euro per person. You can check timetables at www.stasy.gr.
By taxi: A taxi will cost around 25 Euros during the day, and around 35 at night. The journey takes about 20 minutes. Scheduled transfers are always more expensive.
